Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim Shares His Point Of View:
Mohammad Wasim tells about the Changes in the team “We only made changes that were necessary. Both tournaments are important to us, so we chose our best available players after consulting with the skipper and head coach.”
Mohammad Wasim share the reason for Hasan Ali’s exclusion “Hasan has indeed been given a break from international cricket, and Naseem Shah has taken his place. He is extremely quick and can add to the fast bowling department, which already includes Haris Rauf, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Shahnawaz Dahani”
Mohammad Wasim on Inclusion of Agha Salman “Salman Ali Agha has been recalled to the ODI squad after a strong showing in the last two Pakistan Cup tournaments, averaging 40.33 and 48.8. He also provides an additional bowling option for Babar Azam.”

Players Who Should Have Been Included In The Squad
Green Shirts 15 men’s squad for the Asia Cup is pretty fine as youngsters have been given a chance to showcase their talent on a big platform. However, there should be some experienced players like Shoaib Malik and Imad Wasim. Shoaib Malik is a stable batsman who can save Pakistan from a collapse. Along with his experience of UAE pitches, he could have been a match winner.
Imad Wasim is an under rated allrounder. He could have been dangerous in UAE conditions. Especially in the powerplay with the new ball. Imad also has a lot of experience with UAE pitches as he has played a lot of international games along with franchise cricket. His records in UAE are wonderful.
