Why Was Imad Wasim Dropped?
Imad played his recent match against Australia on 11th November 2021. After that, we didn’t see the 33 years old in Pakistan Cricket team. The Chief selector Mohammad Wasim included Mohammad Nawaz in the T20I series and his fine performance left Wales born place in Jeopardy.
The left-handed batsman questioned his exclusion from the team. “I have not played a single match since the World Cup. I don’t know the reason behind this, to be honest. No justification has been provided to me, and reasons are given to me, but I am unsatisfied with them. But whatever happens, happens because it is the Almighty’s will.”

The Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar is also shocked to see 33 years old dropped from the Pakistan squad. “He [Imad Wasim] deserved a place in the T20 squad as he is too good to be dropped from the T20 team.”
