ODI Career 

Naseem Shah made his ODI debut against Netherlands in Aug 2022. The unplayable Naseem Shah has been a phenomenal performer in the ODI format for Pakistan. He has played only seven ODIs till now, but he has already taken 21 wickets at an impressive average of 14. He also holds the record for the most ODI wickets after six ODIs, which is 20. 

He has two five-wicket hauls to his credit, one against Netherlands and one against New Zealand. He has been very economical as well, with a rate of 4.68 runs per over. The unplayable Naseem Shah has also made a mark in the T20I format for Pakistan. He made his T20I debut in the Asia Cup 2022 and took the prized wicket of KL Rahul on his very first ball. He has also maintained a superb economy rate of 7.3 runs per over, which is remarkable for a fast bowler in T20Is.   • T20 World Cup Final Spell 

The Unplayable Naseem Shah was the bowler of the World Cup final for Pakistan as he bowled a sensational spell of fast bowling to surprise the English batting line-up. He swung the ball both ways at high speed and troubled the batsmen with his accuracy and aggression. However, he wasn’t able to win the match for his side. 

  • 2 Sixes Against Afghanistan 

Naseem Shah became the hero of Pakistan’s thrilling one-wicket win over Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022. The young fast bowler, batting at number 10, smashed two sixes in two balls in the last over of the match to seal the victory and help Pakistan qualify for the final. He revealed that he exchanged his bat with Mohammad Hasnain before facing Fazal-ul-Haq Farooqi and decided to go for the big shots and won the game with two sixes when 11 were required off the last over.
