Mohammad Wasim Junior is another pace sensation, one of the emerging fast bowlers, dug out by Pakistan and also has made his place in PCB emerging cricketer of the year 2021. He has shown some guts in the recently-concluded World Cup by unleashing brilliant yorkers and bowling hard and impeccable lengths.
The bowler with useful batting abilities has recently been strengthened to the Pakistan squad for the historic test series against England. But a lot of people have questioned his selection in the squad. We will try to find out the pretext on which he has been nominated.

So keeping that in mind playing a longer format will give him much discretion over his length and line specifically.
He has just played one and a half seasons of domestic cricket and has not been able to play this year’s season due to his job on the national team. Even next year, he will be with the team for the world cup, and he will miss next year’s season too. So keeping that in mind, PCB will be thinking of having him in the squad to refine his skills with Shaun Tait.

Test Cricket will make Wasim Junior a vivid All-rounder.
Wasim Junior has always been compared with the likes of Abdul Razzaq and Chris Woakes, but he has never been able to put up a good show with his batting. Players with whom he has been compared are the players who have built their technique in the longer format and have made amendments to the other formats.
Test cricket is the format where a player gets a huge amount of time to settle himself and play all the sports he wishes to play. There is no pressure of run rate or anything worth like. Playing test cricket, and that too against the quality bowling of England, will not only improve his technique but will also give him an immense amount of confidence if he performs. Ben stokes is the clear manifestation of that he has always given test cricket as his prerogative, and results are in front of us.

It’s not the first time that 21 Years old has been added to the squad; he was added to the squad during the historic test series of Australia in Pakistan. With the presence of a well-built test all-rounder, indeed, he will scarcely get into the playing XI Keeping in mind the WTC final. He can be a suitable replacement if any injury happens.
Keeping him in the 18 men’s squad will give him a chance to learn from a brilliant test all-rounder and also from the domestic king, the 30 years old Muhammad Ali. Watching his teammates bowl, he will learn a lot, even serving as a water boy.
