The much-anticipated event, HBL PSL 8 Draft for the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League, is all set to take place on December 15th after facing a delay in the original schedule. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been taking every measure to make PSL 8 a big success, which will be the second time the event will entirely be staged within the cricket-loving nation.
With the preparations going on in a full-swing manner, the PCB, on Wednesday, named over 240 international cricketers in the Silver Category for the PSL 8 Draft. And as expected, it incorporates big names from across the world.
As per the details, renowned players like Saad Bin Zafar, Max O’Dowd, Colin Ackermann, Ravi Bopara, Gerhard Erasmus, and many others have made themselves available for the marquee league. Apart from the Silver Category featuring foreign cricketers, other categories, too, have a plethora of names of foreigners, making the tournament even star-studded.

Earlier, the board announced the pick order for the HBL PSL 8 Draft and the complete retention list. According to the pick order, the current champions Lahore Qalandars have the first pick. You can see the rest of the details here.
It is pertinent to mention here that the league is set to be staged at four venues, including Karachi, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Multan. As per the schedule shared by PCB so far, the event will take place between February 9th and March 19th, 2023.
