Overview:
Pakistan is one of the most unpredictable teams in the cricketing world. They can beat any team and also lose to any team, regardless of how weak the other team is. This time, they entered the T20 World Cup 2024 as not many cricket experts favourites. Green shirts are in Group C with India, Ireland, USA, and Canada, called the group of death by some. They after recently lost to England and a T20 game against Ireland.
However, the Pakistan team is much more balanced after the inclusion of Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir. They have top batters like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, with Fakhar Zaman in the middle order. The pitches in the West Indies are slow, so Pakistan has a mystery spinner in Abrar Ahmed. Although Pakistan has a good team, they need to be consistent with their plans and tactics and perform excellently under pressure to lift their second World Cup. Their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign begins with a match against the USA on June 6.

India is one of the most improved teams in the world, but they have not won a single ICC tournament in the last 11 years. The last time they won was the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013, under the leadership of MS Dhoni. Since then, they have reached the finals and semi-finals many times but have not managed to finish on the winning side. They have choked in the big matches. As usual, India will enter the T20 World Cup 2024 as a favourite.
Team India has a very good lineup, with a strong batting order. At the top, captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are nearing the end of their careers and are eager to win a trophy for their country. Alongside them is Suryakumar Yadav, the most dynamic batter in this format. Additionally, left-handed batter Rishabh Pant is back with the team after his terrifying accident. Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya will strengthen both the batting and bowling departments. They also have the services of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, along with the world’s most dangerous bowler, Jasprit Bumrah.
