The Big Question: Will Ihsanullah Play in the Final T20?

Pak vs NZ T20I series is coming to a close with the final T20I being played on Monday. The hosts lead the 5-match series 2-1, with the last match yet to be played. New Zealand is missing their main players like Kane Williamson, Devon Conway and Tim Southee which gives a chance to young talent. However, the case with Pakistan is not the same as they are playing with their full-strength squad and dropping out the young likes of Ihsanullah and M. Haris on the bench. However, the team for the last T20I is still undecided so there is a huge question mark, will Ihsanullah Play in the Final T20I? 

Ihsanullah’s Performances In Afg vs Pak Series

Ihsanullah, the young fast bowler from Pakistan, was one of the standout performers in the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan. The young fast bowler took 6 wickets across the three-match series including a match-winning spell of 3-29 to help Pakistan secure the victory in the last T20I and to prevent a whitewash but even after his magnificent performances it is still uncertain that will Ihsanullah play in near future?

Do His Performances Earn Him A Spot in the National Team? 

Ihsanullah has shown pace and skill in the series against Afghanistan and in PSL as well. His five-wicket haul against Quetta Gladiators shows the pace he’s got and how he can swing the ball both ways. He also has a number of tricks up his sleeve which make him a difficult customer to tackle with. The Swat born topped the charts by becoming the second-highest wicket-taker in the PSL with 22 wickets in 12 matches. Even Shahid Afridi and Muhammad Amir have slammed the decision of keeping Ihsanullah on the bench and destroying the young fast bowler’s confidence. 

Will Ihsanullah Play In the Final T20I? 

The question of whether Ihsanullah will play or not in the upcoming match remains uncertain, but the cricket fans in Pakistan are looking forward to seeing him in action with experienced fast bowlers like Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf. Ihsanullah is a promising young talent who has impressed many with his bowling skills and his ability to handle pressure. He could be a valuable addition to the team if he gets a chance to play.
