A Glamorous Start & Citywide Fervour
The opening ceremony in Lahore was a vibrant affair, lighting up Gaddafi Stadium with music, pyrotechnics, and national pride. Featuring performances from Atif Aslam and Young Stunners, it energized fans across Pakistan. Matches have rotated between Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Multan. On average, each venue saw 20,000–28,000 fans, with Multan recording full houses despite fewer matches scheduled there.
Players Under Spotlight
Among the veterans, Rizwan, Babar, and Shaheen continue to dominate headlines. Jason Holder and Hasan Ali have proven their experience with ball in hand. Rising stars like Abrar Ahmed and Sahibzada Farhan are becoming household names, earning praise for their temperament and flair.
