Muzaffarabad Tigers: How strong are they?

Runner-ups in the last edition, Muzaffarabad Tigers will be looking to go one step ahead of this edition of the Kashmir Premier League. They have picked some amazing young players from the draft. Former Pakistan All-Rounder Mohammad Hafeez will once again lead the side.

The batting will be led by Hafeez at the top. Zeeshan Ashraf, Taimoor Sultan, and Salman Fayyaz are to name a few other notable names at the top. The Bowling lineup consists of Mir Hamza, Sohail Tanvir, Arshad Iqbal, and Ahmed Safi Abdullah names that are very recognizable.

The Tigers have a strong all-rounder list such as Anwar Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed backed by Hafeez himself in this list.

Emerging and Kashmiri list

In the Emerging list, the two picked players are Aqib Liaqat and Aamir Khan. Aqib Liaqat is hailing from Poonch and he is a leg-break bowler. Amir Khan is a right-arm fast bowler hailing from Swat and represented in Pakistan’s U19 team.

In the Kashmiri list, there are exciting players to watch out for. Aqib Illyas, Saad Bin Zafar, Inzamam ul-Haq, Usman Maroof and Usama Fazal.

Aqib Illyas is playing for Oman Cricket and has played in 42 international games out of which 25 innings came in T20Is. He is a top-order batting all-rounder who can bowl leg-break googlies.

Saad Bin Zafar is a bowling all-rounder who plays for Canadian cricket and has a very good bowling record. His Twenty20 bowling economy is just above six while averaging 19. He will be a handy player.

Inzamam ul-Haq is a right-handed batter who can bowl left-arm off-break bowling. He represented Muzaffarabad last season.

We wish the Muzaffarabad Tigers the best of luck for the second season.
