The decision follows a high-level meeting involving PCB officials, franchise representatives, and players, and comes a day after the scheduled fixture between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was postponed.

The decision to relocate the tournament comes at a time of rising tensions between Pakistan and India. Since Wednesday night, Pakistan’s military has claimed it shot down 25 Indian drones in different areas, including Rawalpindi and Lahore. Sadly, one person has lost their life, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Earlier, a spokesperson from the Karachi Kings had mentioned that talks were still going on about changing the venue, with both Karachi and Dubai being considered at the time.
The PCB has emphasized that the well-being of players and staff is its top priority. The board is monitoring the situation closely and will make further decisions based on developments. AP News

Safety First: Game On… But in Dubai?
Due to growing safety concerns, especially regarding the well-being of foreign players, the authorities is considering the tournmanet to move the rest of the tournament to the UAE. According to sources, players from all teams are set to fly to Dubai by night on a special flight arranged for them.
This decision came shortly after the match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi was postponed on Thursday. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that the game will be rescheduled after discussions with all involved parties. The new date will be announced soon.

Foreign Players in Contact with Associations Amid Developing Situation
Several English players currently participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have remained in close touch with their respective boards and representatives as regional tensions continue to be monitored. Among them are James Vince (Karachi Kings), Luke Wood and Tom Kohler-Cadmore (Peshawar Zalmi), Sam Billings and Tom Curran (Lahore Qalandars), and Chris Jordan and David Willey (Multan Sultans).
While the situation on the ground is being closely observed, it is understood that some foreign players, including a few from the English squad, would have been considering the option of an early return had it happened in Pakistan. Now their decision will depend on how events unfold.
