As every PSL fan knows, the Quetta Gladiators is a strong team that always puts up a tough fight against their opponents in every season. This team looks extremely cohesive and resilient, with dangerous batters and a fierce pace bowling attack led by Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain. However, this time around, the Gladiators seem to be struggling a bit, especially since their platinum category player, Wanindu Hasaranga, is set to miss out on the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). This setback is significant for Quetta, and they will need to regroup and find a way to overcome this challenge,

Why is he unavailable for the PSL:

He is a well-known and talented Leg-Spinner bowler from Sri Lanka, Hasaranga is set to miss out on the eighth Edition of the Pakistan Super League Because his home Cricket board has not issued him a no-objection certificate (NOC).

Quetta Gladiators drafted Hasaranga in the platinum category for PSL 2023 and expected his arrival by Monday. However, the unavailability is a significant setback for Quetta, but he will not be available due to because he had domestic commitments with the National Super League, as well as international series to play in New Zealand.

Lead Spinner for Quetta Gladiators:

His performances in international cricket earned him a lucrative contract with the Quetta Gladiator for this Season, The franchise was looking to him to be their lead spinner and play a vital role in the middle overs. Hasaranga was supposed to join the team at the start of the PSL and after his stint, Afghanistan legspinner Qais Ahmad was slated to take over. But Hasaranga’s absence has forced Gladiators to play Qais in two games, though they remain open to finding a replacement for Hasaranga with seven of their group stages games still remaining.

Quetta Gladiators current performance:

Quetta Gladiators started this season with some poor performance, and they had not qualified for the playoffs since 2020. In this season Gladiators won a single game out of four games, Netizens are criticizing them because of their playing XI, as they are,
