Players Who Will Be The X Factor Of Their Team In Asia Cup 2022

Asia Cup 2022 is around the corner due to start on the 27th of August. This tournament will be played in the UAE. This time Asia Cup will be played in T20I format and this format needs match winners. Every team has x-factor players, which will be necessary for their respective teams.

1. Rashid Khan (Afghanistan)

Spin master Rashid Khan will be the x-factor for Afghanistan cricket. He is the main asset of Afghanistan. Rashid will be crucial for Afghanistan, especially in UAE conditions and pitches where spin bowlers have an advantage.

3. Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka)

Wanindu Hasaranga has already made his name in the international circuit. He is the number 6th T20I bowler. The 25 years old has played 38 T20I matches and he has taken 62 wickets with an economy rate of 6.6 which is quite satisfactory. 

He will be a big asset for Sri Lanka cricket, especially in UAE conditions. The 25-years old can also bat at different positions just like Rashid Khan with an average of 15. Hasaranga will be the X factor for team Sri Lanka.

4. Hardik Pandya (India)

Hardik Pandya has finally recovered from his cramp injury. He has picked up his red hot form. Pandya scored 28 runs against West Indies in his latest T20I match with an economy of 4.8 which is quite impressive. 

He also played an innings for 71 runs and took four wickets in a match against England in July. Pandya resolves India’s middle order issues with bat. Hardik is the third pacer for the Indian cricket team and due to his good form, he can be a match winner.

Shadab Khan (Pakistan) 

Shadab Khan will be a trump card for the Shaheens. After the injury of Shaheen Afridi, he will have a lot of responsibilities. Shadab can also solve Pakistan’s middle order issues as he is a fine batsman as well as he is a stable player who can save Men in green from collapse. He also played a match-winning inning of 48 runs against the Netherlands. 

He will be important for the green shirts in the bowling unit as well as he is the most experienced bowler and will have a responsibility to take crucial wickets. Babar Azam (Pakistan)

T20I number batsman Babar Azam is the most crucial batsman for Pakistan. He is a lone warrior who always saves his team from a collapse. Babar is in his hot form and he is a big match player, he will be looking forward to winning the Asia Cup 2022 for his team.
