Cricket-packed schedule: Boredom of Pakistan Cricket fans comes to an end

Pakistan last played its match on 24th July versus Sri Lanka which was a five-day affair and ended as a loss for them. It ultimately left Pakistan Cricket fans in agony and sadness.

The situation seems to be improving among fans as the green shirts are ready to resume cricket activities with a blockbuster schedule waiting for them.

The scale of excitement shown by the Pakistan Cricket fans

The fans were so pleased to see a new look announcement of squads as the official PCB media released a video portraying passports and names of players for the tour of Netherlands and ACC T20 Asia Cup 2022.

The fans were pleased and all of the praise for the Pakistan cricket board, especially the social media team. Not only this, but the squads also impressed the fans as they turned out to be the public favourite.

In an unexpected move, Hassan Ali is not a part of both touring parties and his fan army is concerned and wishes for his form to return as soon as possible.

Clashes to look forward to shortly

Pakistan is set to face its arch-rivals India a minimum of two times in almost 3 months.

The Shaheens are set to face India on 28th August 2022 in the group stage of ACC T20 Asia Cup and are almost certain to play them in Asia Cup Super four stage considering their current form in T20s.

Again in October, the arch-rivals will meet at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in the group stage clash of the T20 WC 2022.

The Green Shirts are also all set to welcome the English team for a long seven T20i series starting from 20th September. This series by all means will serve as a preparation platform for Pakistan and England. This tour also means history to Pakistan as The English Lions are set to tour the land of hospitality first time since 2005.

“Restoring the relations” The Return of Kiwis

In September 2021, a fake and sad incident caused the Kiwis to back out from their ongoing Pakistan tour which caused them to receive severe kind of backlash from media and fans around the globe. The NZC although was good enough to pay the damage and promise a returning tour of Pakistan in 2022 which for now is on the cards in early winter and the fans are waiting for that tour to happen oppositely from September 2021.

It’s key to remember that Pakistan is also scheduled to play a tri-series with New Zealand and Bangladesh in New Zealand, which starts in early October this year, acting as a practice forum for the T20 World Cup 2021.

After winding up the World Cup journeys, Pakistan and England will get back to the cricket-loving country to windup England’s tour of Pakistan 2022 with a Test series.

All and all, the Pakistani fans will not be bored through the coming months and will enjoy a healthy amount of cricket and victories in Pakistan.
