The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has electrified fans by releasing its comprehensive Women’s Cricket Calendar for the 2025‑26 season—an ambitious blueprint spotlighting international tours, domestic tournaments, and pathways for emerging talent.
International & Pathways Schedule
The national women’s team will surge into action this August, kicking off with a T20I tour of Ireland (6 – 10 Aug), before hosting South Africa in Lahore for a three-match ODI series (16, 19 & 22 Sept). These encounters will prime the squad for what lies ahead—the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka and India, scheduled from 30 September to 2 November.
In late February to early March, Pakistan travels to South Africa for a combined three ODIs and three T20Is (7 Feb – 2 Mar 2026) as part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025‑29. In April and May, Zimbabwe heads to Pakistan for mirrored fixtures—three ODIs and three T20Is (24 Apr – 11 May)
Finally, a T20 tri-series in Ireland (May–June) involving Pakistan, Ireland, and the West Indies will serve as a prelude to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England (12 June – 5 July).
Domestic & U‑19 Pipeline
The domestic scene joins the party, too. Karachi will host the National Women’s One‑Day Tournament (6–24 Nov) and National Women’s T20 Tournament (24 Mar–17 Apr). Meanwhile, the U‑19 circuit gets a boost: U‑19 T20 tournament (15 Sept–6 Oct, Karachi) followed by the U‑19 tour of Bangladesh in December.

Building on Legacy
Pakistan’s women’s team has a rich history of achievements. Under Sana Mir’s inspirational captaincy, they won the Asia Cup in 2012, reached the ICC Champions Trophy semi-finals in 2017, and secured memorable bilateral series wins. A recent historic win against Thailand secured Pakistan women’s cricket team a spot in the upcoming World Cup. This landmark victory highlights their growing strength and competitiveness on the international stage. Domestic sides like PCB Blasters, Challengers, and Dynamites have also cemented their dominance—PCB Dynamites clinched three One‑Day Cups, while PCB Challengers and Blasters each have two and one T20 titles respectively. PCB Tweet:
“The 2025‑26 calendar reflects our strategic commitment to providing consistent and meaningful playing opportunities for our women cricketers…” — Rafia Haider, Head of Women’s Cricket.
As the Women’s Cricket Calendar unveils a bold path ahead, we extend heartfelt wishes to the national and U‑19 teams. May this season’s thrilling schedule fuel dazzling performances, foster growth, and culminate in monumental success on both home soil and worldwide stages!
