Azam Khan, the son of former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Moin Khan, has a natural flair for attacking strokes and can take on any bowler in the world, making his biggest strength as a batsman his ability to hit big shots. He is particularly effective against spinners and can clear the ropes with ease. Azam Khan made his PSL debut for Quetta in 2020 against Islamabad and was later traded for Iftikhar Ahmed. He wanted to take revenge on his former franchise.

Azam khan made his debut against Islamabad United and scored 59 runs from 33 balls in his quick-fire innings. There were three maximums and five fours and a strike rate of 176.92. Azam Khan has a strike rate of 129.2, with an average of 16.80 in 260 PSL balls. Azam Khan hit a total of 46 boundaries with 33 fours and 13 sixes while playing from Quetta.

Azam Khan’s revenge: 65* Vs Quetta:
The first match of his mission to take revenge on his former franchise was successful. Islamabad faced Quetta on three February 2022 in the National bank arena. Islamabad batted first in the encounter and scored 229 runs. Azam khan scored 65 runs in 35 balls with a strike rate of 185.71, six maximums and 2 fours were part of his revenge on his former franchise Quetta.

Azam Khan’s revenge mission continues on his former franchise in 2023. Azam Khan faced Quetta on 24 February 2023. Azam was hoping for another revenge, He arrived on the pitch when Islamabad lost three wickets off their leading batsman in just six overs. Azam started his innings slowly but after he gained momentum. He didn’t show any mercy on Quetta bowlers; he smashed them all over the ground. He scored 97 runs, the highest of his PSL career. In his innings of revenge, he smashed nine fours and eight sixes with a strike rate of 230.95.
