Well, there is certainly a huge level of excitement surrounding the upcoming T20 World Cup. Many players are standouts like the Babar Azam and Virat Kohli of the world. But some players seem to have that x-factor about them and if they succeed could well be the breakaway they needed for their International Careers. This might be a great chance to do it in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.
Suryakumar Yadav (IND)
One might say this is quite obvious but there is potential to be one of India’s greats, if he manages to succeed in this tournament. His 360 degrees batting style makes him extremely unique and can draw comparisons to the likes of AB de Villiers and so on.
His array of shots combined with an immense risk-taking ability provide an extremely explosive skill set.
Some people have predicted SKY to be the highest scorer in the prestigious tournament and he might be a very good shout. His form is impeccable coming into this tournament with successful innings against South Africa and Australia. This might be his tournament and could lead India to victory.
Rilee Rossouw (SA)
Another quite an explosive player who has been out of International cricket for some time. He made his return against India and managed to score a great hundred and once again proved why he is an extremely talented middle-order batsman. He was out for quite a while but always managed to score a whole bunch of runs through franchise cricket.
His experience will play in handy for South Africa and his ability to play the pull shot will only help him succeed even more. This in truth could help boost the team’s score by 15-20 runs and that might win them the game. These are the sort of players that the proteas were lacking since the likes of JP Duminy had retired. This could be the final piece of the puzzle for the country.
Tim David (AUS)
The new Australian middle-order hitter has recently changed his citizenship and is now playing for the Aussies. He had proven himself to score at an unbelievable rate and his ability to clear the rope was unfathomable. His ability to play straight down the ground can be very useful as in Australia people tend to have their fielders more square of the wicket so he can pick easy boundaries.
He had proved himself to be a great talent during the PSL and went on to do decently in the IPL as well. He had gained a lot of popularity and there was a big stir when he announced that he will be playing for the Aussies from now on. Since then he has established himself in the middle order and is starting to blossom as an out-and-out superstar.

Pathum Nissanka (SL)
There is no surprise why he is on the list, to say the least. Carrying the team to a rather surprising Asia Cup victory and approaching superstar status at such a young age is an amazing feat. His very traditional style of play suits the conditions so well. He has succeeded very well in Australia before and that might give him a huge confidence boost.
Another success is that since he was so good during the Asia Cup he will have an opportunity and motivation to show he wasn’t a one-hit wonder and to prove to the world that he means business. If he manages to anchor the innings then Sri Lanka can be quite dangerous.
Harry Brook (ENG)
This one might be a surprise to most. But recent events have proved us otherwise. The way Harry has batted in Pakistan and has solidified his place in the starting lineup is quite something to behold. His energy and youth are bringing a new element of shots into the equation. He looks at the game differently from others and that gives him an added benefit.
He managed to perform at the most crucial time and we all remember his great hundred in the PSL where he turned the game on its head. It’s just a sight to behold where even opposition fans have to appreciate his creative mindset and attacking approach toward any challenge.
